Chaya Rosenbaum is a third-year law student at St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, NY. Drawing from her past experience in insurance claims, human resources, and healthcare volunteering, she has developed a focus on healthcare law throughout her legal education. Her legal experiences include assisting abandoned minors through guardianship proceedings, supporting the in-house legal team of a national pharmaceutical distributor, and researching novel legal issues in telemedicine and COVID-19 waivers for healthcare innovation clients. She has taken several classes in healthcare and employment law and has assisted in teaching the first-year Contracts course for two years. She promotes healthcare advocacy and education through her roles as a leader of the Health Law Society at St. John’s Law and as an appointed member of the NYC Bar Health Law Committee. Chaya received a bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Visual Arts from Touro College and has also taken coursework at New York School of Interior Design. Her goal is to assist healthcare businesses with their transactional and regulatory legal needs.
