Venus has extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance, joint ventures, lender agreements, deal structures, and workout financing, gained first from working for a government regulator and then working at an international law firm. Venus has successfully represented clients in state and federal investigations. Venus has managed deals from term sheet through closing with multiple properties totaling one billion dollars. Her knowledge of case law as it affects contract terms allows her to be an effective negotiator protecting her clients’ interests while facilitating relationships and deal consummation. She recently was involved in extended bankruptcy-related litigation in Washington State where she achieved an excellent result for her clients.
Venus Springs has a great passion for helping others outside of her regular legal practice. Fluent in Spanish, she has done pro bono work for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and in immigration law, elder law, landlord-tenant law, consumer defense, and children’s rights.
