Jennifer Dillon Williams is a proven legal and operational leader with nearly 20 years of experience at the intersection of law and operations. As Administrative Services Director for Washington State’s Department of Children, Youth, and Families, she established the agency’s first Legal Office, which oversees legal strategy for thousands of claims and lawsuits annually. She leads a nearly 300-member division driving operational support initiatives in risk management, compliance, and created the agency’s first Employee Supports Office. Before joining public service, Jennifer owned, operated, and supported multiple law firms and businesses including healthcare practitioners and residential/commercial real estate and construction firms. A licensed attorney in Washington and Texas, and a Certified Information Privacy Manager, she is known for transforming complex challenges into sustainable solutions utilizing her expertise in legal and compliance strategy with an operational lens. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from University of Texas at Dallas, Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan/A&M Law School, and a Legal Masters in Risk Management and Compliance from Seattle University Law School.Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her spouse, an accomplished middle school Art Teacher, and their terrifically terrifying toddler, Violet, as well as home renovation and participating in a variety of book clubs.
